Urgent Need

1. Volunteers Needed for our Summer KidZone

For summer, we need VOLUNTEERS to help kids heal and find safety and stability as they work hard to escape from homelessness!  Volunteers age 16+ work with youth one day per week through the summer. Can you share our Volunteer needs with your congregation?  I’ve attached a slide for your convenience. KidZone volunteer sign-up here. 2. Urgent Need: Hygiene Essentials

When homeless families come to us in crisis, they need safety, food, and personal care. The Care Closets at Vine Maple Place are almost empty.  Homeless moms and kids need your help now.  You can uplift them by replenishing the care closets with Hygiene Essentials.

• Share the urgent need with your congregation.  Our moms and kids need hygiene items now.  I’ve attached a graphic that can be used as a slide in your service.  Here’s a URL that used in an email or e-newsletter to your organization, along with the included photo and QR code.   https://www.vinemapleplace.org/get-involved/hygiene-purchase--deliver.html
• Share our social media post. On Facebook and Instagram and ask others to share as well, to get the need out to as many people as possible.
• Give. Make a donation to help fill the closets at this link.
• Plan a Hygiene Drive. Plan a drive to collect Hygiene Essentials or consider a standing drive – regular donations are so important to our families.  Call or email Lisa O’Leary to let her know. Lisao@vinemapleplace.org | 425-432-2119 x104
